Ralvero - (Fuck) What You Heard

Artist: Ralvero
Track: (Fuck) What You Heard
Label: Hysteria

Following up the previous jam I posted on Friday in Hardwell;s most recent podcast is this absolute monster. I think it the matter of 24 hourts about 500 blogs posted about this so apparently I'm not the only one who listens to Hardwell's podcast, but I am the only one who posted the other song! Woooo! Anyways, check this bad mama jamma out. You know with support from The Bingo Players, Swanky Tunes and Hardwell that this one is going to get jammed on all summer.

Repow - From Zero To Hero

Artist: Repow
Track: From Zero To Hero
Label: HM Recordings

So this one is pretty much as in your face, high energy, sweat dripping from the 3 PM sun hitting you like an oven as you can get. Jacked this one from the most recent Hardwell podcast and ohhhhweeeee, better believe if you see Hardwell at some point over this summer he's going to be dropping this one right in the smack dab middle of his sets to dehydrate you a bit more. Sorry if you weren't prepared for it, but it happened. Welcome to the weekend

John Dahlback ft. Agnes - Life (Diamonds In The Dark) + Feenixpawl Remix

Artist: John Dahlback ft. Agnes
Track: Life (Diamonds In The Dark)
Label: Big Beat

To be honest with you, I'm not really sure why I haven't posted this one yet. It really did slip by me in posting and I should be ashamed of myself, especially since this has been an absolute monster for a couple months now, up and down, left to right complete banger. It is a retool of "Life" I posted about in February of 2012, but nonetheless, Dahlback gave it new life with a vocal and remix package. I'm a bit ashamed of myself, but at least I caught it now. This one can be added to your festival play list accordingly.

Sander van Doorn, DubVision Vs. MAKO ft. Mariana Bell - Into The Light

Artist: Sander van Doorn, DubVision Vs. MAKO ft. Mariana Bell
Track: Into The Light
Label: Doorn/Spinnin

God damn this song right to hell. I wanted to not like it when I first heard it because I hate the fact that I like the new SVD sound as much as his old, brooding, tech trance style; but the damn song just kept growing and growing on em every time I played it or I heard a DJ drop it. I was in Atlanta over the weekend for the inaugural Magnetic Music Festival and I think Third Party dropped this one. Safe to say I was bopping like a teenage girl with fuzzy boots on. That is all.

Sub Focus ft. Alex Clare - Endorphins (Tommy Trash Remix) + Original

Artist: Sub Focus ft. Alex Clare
Track: Endorphins (Tommy Trash Remix)
Label: Ram

If you know me or you're friends with me in real life, you know how I am absolutely obsessed with Tommy Trash's live shows and especially productions. The man has style, energy and a presence that is second so none when catering to a crowd. This new remix has yet to be released but has his signature touch on it with the exception of one thing I noticed missing, his signature warbling bass line sound. Who knows, maybe this is just a rough cut and the final with be on it, but either way I'm a happy dude with new Trash productions. Original below.

Dido - No Freedom (Benny Benassi Remix)

Artist: Dido
Track: No Freedom (Benny Benassi Remix)
Label: RCA

I head Benny Benassi drop this one from the Ultra stream in Miami (driving in the car on the way to Miami) and the vocal sample has been absolutely haunting to me. Benny Benassi is one of those guys who has stood the test of time because he really does just make and play good music. If you look back at Satisfaction, it was way ahead of it's time and progressive house DJs literally still play it today. This one is perfect to get you going, just like "Satisfaction" did back in the day. Welcome to the weekend.

Designer Drugs & Alvin Risk - Empty Hearted

Artist: Designer Drugs & Alvin Risk
Track: Empty Hearted
Label: OWSLA

Awesome and interesting pairing, Designer Drugs and Alvin Risk. This one is pretty straight forward,  a great, melodic lead in and then some of the most interesting dubstep I've heard in awhile. I thought dubstep was definitely on the decline, but with songs like this being released I might be wrong.

Barnes & Heatcliff ft. Chris Madin - Neon Light

Artist: Barnes & Heatcliff ft. Chris Madin
Track: Neon Light
Label: Kontor

I have literally been obsessed with this song since I heard it a couple of weeks ago, so I wanted to give everyone whichever experience they wanted. The first is the video/radio cut, goes right to the point. he second is the full song that lets you appreciate the full track. Yea it might be a bit poppy/cheesy/whatever, but I don't really care. As the days are getting longer and the sun is shining a bit brighter, this is the shit I want to listen to. Maybe sometimes I want to watch borderline too young girls bop to this at a pool party and think to myself "Yep, life is good", and I'll be damned if I'm not sure this song is playing while doing so.

Above & Beyond - Walter White

Artist: Above & Beyond
Track: Walter White
Label: Ajunabeats

I don't know why this one hasn't been posted yet, and frankly I'm a little bit embarrassed it hasn't. I first heard this one at Above & Beyond's Ajunabeats 10 launch party at Roseland in NYC, and let me tell you, it's monstrous. The name of the track perfectly fits the soundscape they've created relating back to the character. It's beautiful, big room, huge chord, ominous and absolutely perfect in my eyes.

Claptone ft. Jaw - No Eyes + Claptone - Cream

Artist: Claptone ft. Jaw
Track: No Eyes
Label: Exploited

I'm a bit tired from a long weekend, starting with Netsky Live and ending with interpretive dance moves in a friend's kitchen after drinking a jar of moonshine. To say the least, I needed a little something a bit more low key today, but not so low key that I'll fall asleep. I've been waiting for an appropriate day to post about this smooth operator, but I never found the right moment. With all the summer excitement coming up and everyone releasing their big tracks I was afraid I would never find the right time. Well, today is a good day as any. I remember their song "Cream" for a while ago, then Pete Tong dropped this new one on his Essential Selection radio show and I was hooked. Just a smooth, sexy ass song.

Sultan & Ned Shepard & NERVO ft. Omarion - Army (Tom Swoon Remix) + Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix)

Artist: Sultan & Ned Shepard & NERVO ft. Omarion
Track: Army (Tom Swoon Remix)
Label: Strictly Rhythm

Previous blog post recipients Sultan & Ned Shepard coming in hot with an original production and the first and only remix of Bruno Mars that is actually worth listening to. Slap these puppies on an IPod and I guarantee you will have the girls dancing; I mean who doesn't love the vocals of Bruno Mars and Omarion, right? Regardless, two sold songs that are a bit lighter and get you in the mood to be dancing in a bathing suit. Hold on friends...summer is so close.... Welcome to the weekend.

Artist: Bruno Mars
Track: Locked Out Of Heaven (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix)
Label: Atlantic

Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (DJ Punish & Dani L. Mebius Bootleg)

Artist: Lykke Li
Track: I Follow Rivers (DJ Punish & Dani L. Mebius Bootleg)
Label: bootleg

This little mamma jamma is absolutely destructive when you hear it live, complete and total festival worthy, all hands in the air, CO2 cannons blasting type of rocker. Heard live and recorded in quite a few live sets over the past few weeks. If you're telling me you can't see someone like Laidback Luke or Hardwell doing that little hand flick/pump up on stage while blasting this one out at 3 PM you're absolutely out of you mind. Start making a playlist now kiddies, the next few weeks are going to come in hot with all the summer releases; banger after banger after banger after banger. Better get that face warmed up, it's going to be melted quite a few times for the next 4 months.

OneRepublic - If I Lose Myself (Alesso Remix)

Artist: OneRepublic
Track: If I Lose Myself (Alesso Remix)
Label: Mosley Music

After much delay, here it is, the dance remix of a sing along rock/pop song you will be hearing all summer. That one tune you know exactly what it is when it comes on even by the first few chords. The one that you will hear at the end of almost every DJ's set at the festivals this summer to really build that excitement and sense of community while everyone sings. I'm not saying it's on the level of "Sweet Disposition", but give it time.

Beltek - Party Voice

Artist: Beltek
Track: Party Voice
Label: Dim Mak

Beltek is a Slovenian DJ/Producer who has been around a handful of years and probably produced or remixed a handful or tracks that you've heard or like in the past.  The only difference is that I think he is now really starting to gain some traction and you're going to hear his name more and more. It's a little late to drop this as an Ultra song, but it was included in the remix competition. You have to admit that this track is a bit of a jam, and most other DJ's seem to think so too. I've heard this one countless times live whether it was on it's own or in a mash up, so keep your ears open for this one and future releases from the man.

Russ Chimes - Turn Me Out

Artist: Russ Chimes
Track: Turn Me Out
Label: Deconstruction

I'm a big, big fan of Russ Chimes, both for his productions and his sets. I posted about his remix of "Flaw's as well as an original production and his now legendary Expressway Mix prior. There's just something about the quality vibe he creates with his music selection that crosses all boundaries and genres. I've played his Expressway Mix 5 for dozens of people, ranging from hardcore house heads, to French tourists to #trancefamily to old school junglists; and everyone agrees on one thing. To put it bluntly; his shit is great. This one won't hit you in the head too heard while helping pull you out of that Monday rut.

Orjan Nilsen - No Saint Out Of Me

Artist: Orjan Nilsen
Track: No Saint Out Of Me
Label: Armind

If there was a single track in Miami that really got the crowd into it and the party started, it was this one. This jam was dropped by everyone from trance DJs to progressive house DJs and probably a country radio DJ or two, who knows. Either way, this is is legit, sick, hot fire. The melodic build up, the break down that lets you know what's coming, the massive drop in the same vain as "Epic" and "Pandor"and then those drums. Those drums. Nothing like a little delayed tom break to start you off right. Welcome to the weekend.

Lazy Rich - Insomnia + Chris Lake & Lazy Rich - Stand Alone

Artist: Lazy Rich
Track: Insomnia
Label: Rising

This one was a real surprise personally because to me Lazy Rich's music a bit less mainstream, he's never really been a big room, sell out Mansion in Miami kind guy or DJ. The fact that this one is being released on Chris Lake's Rising Music imprint makes me suspect that he may have had a hand in offering some advice on the musical direction of the track. Regardless, this is a solid ass dance track, something without a doubt you will hear in the club during peak time, and maybe even on the radio, who knows. Bonus below, the jam he put out with Chris Lake last year.

Artist: Chris Lake & Lazy Rich
Track: Stand Alone
Label: Ultra

Temporary Hero - Youth (Jerome Isma-Ae Remix)

Artist: Temporary Hero
Track: Youth (Jerome Isma-Ae Remix)
Label: white

Heard this one on Gareth Emery's podcasts recently, which is surprising because he seems to be getting a bit more techy recently. Regardless, I've been a Jeron Isma-Ae fan for some time now, I always know if I'm looking for that certain sound, he's one of the ones that's going to deliver. You can always count on Umek, Alan Fitzpatrick, Carl Cox, ect if you looking for a certain brand of techno. I personally love Isma-Ae rolling bass lines and ability to capitalize on the best part of a song and make it the focal point of a remix.

Paul van Dyk ft. Austin Leeds & Elijah King - Such A Feeling (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix) + Original

Artist: Paul van Dyk ft. Austin Leeds & Elijah King
Track: Such A Feeling  (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Label: Vandit

So there's a couple reasons why this one is special to me. First of all, it's a jam of a song, the original and the remix. Second of all I'm fairly certain I heard Alex M.O.R.P.H. play his remix at Space in Miami, which was also my first time seeing him (surprisingly). He came down the the dance floor after his set to take some pictures and I predictably gushed to him like a teenage girl how much I love his sets and will be getting to MSG early to see him open for ASOT 600. Embarrassing yes, but moving along. Thirdly, PVD most definitely played this one pretty damn close to 140 BPM in his closing ASOT 600 Miami set, which literally blew my mind. New found respect for a trance legend. Place was going bananas and I can honestly say it was the hardest set out of all of ASOT 600 Miami. PVD, coming back for more?

Zedd ft. Foxes - Clarity (W&W Bootleg) + W&W Ultra Set + Clarity (Tom Budin Remix)

Artist: Zedd ft. Foxes
Track: Clarity (W&W Bootleg)
Label: bootleg

Heard this one again over the weekend at ASOT in NYC, and I will admit it is as incredible live as it sounds through little speakers. W&W put on an amazingly live show that coincides quite well with their production characteristics; melodic with a bit of a harder edge at points. Bonus W&W's Ultra set from Miami and the Tom Budin remix of "Clarity".

Artist: Zedd ft. Foxes
Track: Clarity (Tom Budin Remix)
Label: bootleg
